The Keating Group and Consultants, Daniel J. Keating III, Chairman/CEO,

Abstract:
After the pleasure of working with his father in the construction industry for many years, Dan Keating III founded Keating Building Corporation in 1976.

Under Dan's direction, the organization has diversified to include Keating Partners and Keating Environmental Management.  Now 25 years strong, the Keating name has become both locally and nationally recognized by business and industry for high quality construction management, general contracting and design/build services, real estate development and property management expertise, and state of the art environmental remediation and management services.  As Chairman and CEO, Dan provides executive oversight to The Keating Group.

Dan will describe his company and how it may or may not use consulting companies and individuals in its business.  He has also offered to respond to relevant questions from the floor at the conclusion of his talk.

Biography:
Dan is a successful entrepreneur known for his insight, integrity and commitment to the community.  He has been involved in many significant construction and development projects that have contributed to the economic growth of communities nationwide.  He has developed and built a top of the market hotel (the Hyatt at Penn's Landing) and restored a national historic landmark building into luxury rental housing (The Phoenix). Dan has been honored with the Torch of Liberty Award of the Anti Defamation League of
B'nai B'rith and the Robert Morris Citizenship Award from the Boy Scouts of America.  He is on the Board of Trustees at Rosemont College.  Dan is a graduate of Villanova University. He is the husband of Sarah and father of six beautiful children.

From City Line Ave. (Route # 1) drive north on Conshohocken State Road (Route # 23) about 3 long blocks.  Continue north on Trevor Lane instead of following Route #23 left.  At  "Y" in road one block north on Trevor Lane turn left where clubhouse and parking are on the left side of the road. 

Please park in lot if space is available, otherwise park on Trevor Lane.  If lost, call the club at 610-667-4524.

Meeting fee, including food and beverages, is $20 by reservation or $25 at the door.  No-shows will be invoiced.  No reservation required if for talk only, but it is advised to tell us you’re coming so you can be reached in case of cancellation.
