Lou Henderson |
||
|
Lou Henderson holds the position of Manager of
Corporate Engineering at PQ Corporation in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
He is also an Adjunct Professor in Chemical Engineering at Widener
University in Chester, Pennsylvania, teaching a graduate course in Process
Safety. Lou has over 24 years of experience in the CPI,
holding management and technical positions in Engineering, Manufacturing,
and R&D. Prior to joining
the PQ Corporation, Lou was Manager of Process Engineering and Process
Development at Cabot Corporation in Boyertown, PA.
Lou also held a number of positions at ARCO Chemical Company in
Newtown Square and Pittsburgh locations.
Lou has extensive experience in Process Safety Management and
compliance for manufacturing operations that fall under OSHA’s PSM/RMP
regulations. He has
also led teams solving process safety issues in systems design for
flammable particulates and hydrocarbons, polymerization reactor
containment, relief valves, and hot oil systems. Lou holds a Masters in Chemical Engineering from the
University of Delaware and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue
University. |
