Program:
The program will include information regarding petroleum chemistry and
technology in the Delaware Valley (historical perspective), background
information about Premcor and the Delaware City Refinery,
refining of crude oil,
the environmental and safety issues. Micheal Pollauf, refinery Manager at the
Premcor’s Delaware City Refinery, will be one of the speakers. Mike has over 20
years of experience in the oil industry.
Since the initial announcement was prepared, the refinery is now owned by
Valero. Mike Pollauf is no longer the Refinery Manager at DCR. The new Refinery
Manager is Andrew Kenner. Mr. Kenner will be hosting the tour. See Andrew
