The
presentation will provide a brief overview of the biology related to
vaccines, what are vaccines and who uses them. The process for
manufacturing vaccines will be presented (and compared to other biotech
processes such as brewing). The rationale for using vaccines will be
explored. A glimpse of the future of vaccines will also be provided.
